You are not alone, there are people and a true God who has concern and care for you. This is a month to give thanks. We are thankful that we have access to our God who is all-powerful and in control. God can provide all the resources and power we need to accomplish what we were designed for.
God cares for all people regardless of status, race, or ethnicity. This month the students will be learning about our God. It is comforting to know that God uses His power to guide and provide for those who seek and follow His will. We must also know that God is all knowing. Psalm 147:5 tells us Our Lord is great, vast in power, His understanding is infinite.
Nov 5 God is all powerful and in control of all things. The Israelites were trapped by the Red Sea but God had other plans. Exodus 13:17-22; 14; Psalm 78:13; 147:5. God is just as powerful today as He was in Bible times. What area of your life needs God power applied?
Nov 12 God is all knowing and has the power to do anything. You can not hide from God. Jonah learned the God has the power to know all things. Jonah 1-4; Psalm 147:5 God knows when you make selfish and sinful choices. Just like in Nineveh’s time people are rejecting and disobeying God but He is calling out to them to repent.
Nov 19 God has concern and care for all people and has the power to protect His people. There is power in your prayers. Daniel 6; Psalm 147:5; 2 Samuel 7:22. Daniel spends the night in a den of hungry lions. When you are placed in a difficult situation make sure you obey and follow God’s will. God still works miracles today for those who follow the plan and take a stand.
Nov 26 What strikes fear in your heart? God has control of all things. Your size and might is not important, what is important is your willingness to train and follow His plan. 1 Samuel 17:1-50; Job 42:2; Psalm 147:5 David and Goliath. Bravery is taking small steps in the proper direction and allowing God to provide the strength and wisdom you need.
