Our children’s ministries are led by Randy Billings, who says “We are teaching that God’s Word is living and applies to us today. We are teaching children to be examples to those around them.”

As the Scripture teaches, “Let no one despise your youth; instead, you should be an example to the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity. 1 Timothy 4:12

Billings adds, “We are excited to have the privilege of teaching children and we have teacher training classes to better prepare ourselves to teach children.”

Billings wants children and their parents to understand that God has blessed us by providing this special book of life instructions – the Bible  (read 2 Timothy 3:15-17).

He asks children to bring their Bible to church, noting “We provide opportunities and training to use the Bible all year! We want children learn to trust God all the time (Proverbs 3:1-6) and we encourage each family to study God’s word together at home. Review the lesson with your child each week by asking about the story your child heard. Ask how we can do what God wants.”

God’s Word is important for teaching us how to live yet so few take the effort or time to study it. How do you learn about God’s greatest gift? How do you work on your relationship with God? God’s Word will give guidance on living out your faith.

The world is always interacting with you. How do you know how to react to those interactions? The world’s desire is to take you away from a relationship with God. No amount of discipline, exercises, training, or workouts can keep you in shape for the spiritual battle that is going on around you without the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Study God’s word every day. Pray & praise all the way.

Together we equip, prepare, and train others in truth about faith and eternity?

There is true value when we connect with each other and God.

Don’t miss out on an opportunity to hear and experience God’s gifts and presence through your church.

Until His return He sent the Holy Spirit to guide and provide so we would not face the world alone.

April 2026 at Living Word – What is holding you back? Doubt, fear, lack of resources, self-conscious, shyness, or something greater?

No matter how hard we try we all fall short. Separation from the one true God is the worst thing that can happen to anyone. Every person who has ever lived has the common trait of sin in their lives except Jesus. He knowingly and willingly is willing to take all that burden and guilt upon Himself so we can live in God’s presence. Jesus not only provided the way, He prepares a place for us. Romans 3:23; 2 Corinthians 5:21; John 3:16

Jesus came to earth not for political or personal gain. He came to address the real battle of sin that separates all humanity from a Holy God. Jesus came to lead us into a true relationship with the One True God. Don’t allow anything to hold you back.

April 5 Abandoned by those He loved, unfairly arrested, beaten, mocked, spit on, and now hanging painfully from a cross. The time had come, the purpose was being fulfilled, the payment was being made. Then it happened – “It is finished”. John 19: 28-30. Those simple words changed the world. The story of our Salvation comes through the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus, Gods only Son. Jesus took the punishment for people’s sins as the only Savior of the world. Matthew 26:36-28:10; John 3:16; 2 Corinthians 5:21. Regardless of our mistakes, past, and sins Jesus freed us and offers us a fresh start if we are willing to accept the gift, take a stand and follow the plan.

April 12 Do you lack confidence, have doubt, or question the Truth? Lack of confidence and doubt may not be a sin but the consequences of these actions can cause major problems in your life. We must learn how to experience freedom and forgiveness despite our circumstances. Choose Salvation. People who trust in Jesus as the their Savior and Lord can know God’s plan of salvation and will for them. Jesus is the way, the truth, and the light. When we truly believe in Him God accepts us as His child with a full inheritance into His Kingdom. Thomas had to see to believe. Thomas learned what was unbelievable was real and true. We can know from God’s Word and the Holy Spirit’s guidance that Jesus lives today. John 20:19-31; John 3:16-17; Ephesians 2:13-14; Romans 8:1-2; 1 John 3:19-20

April 19 What many consider broken, fragmented, and useless becomes both beautiful and useful when placed in the Masters hands. Transformation takes place into something greater than anyone could have imaged with forgiveness and restoration. God provided a way for our sins to be forgiven. We need to accept God’s gift of Jesus and ask for forgiveness. Jesus loves and forgives those who choose to follow Him. Peter’s fears overwhelmed him. His reactions to those fears caused him to deny even knowing who Jesus was. Jesus restored Peter. His what ifs turned into even ifs. God used Peter to help build and care for the church. John 18:10, 15-18, 25-27; 20:3-10; 21:1-19; John 3:16-17; Colossians 1:14. God can restore the broken pieces in your life. Pray asking Him to help you boldly follow God’s plan for your life.

April 26 What do you see when you take time to stop a look up in the sky. Blue sky, clouds, lightning, stars, storms, sun or something more. Nearly 2000 years ago a group of people looked up and watched something amazing as the Savior ascended into Heaven. His return will take place one day. Jesus ascended to heaven but promised He would return one day. Acts 1:4-11; John 3:16,17. Jesus calls us to action, remembering He is with us, to share the Good News as we hold tight to His promise. Matthew 28:20
