Our children’s ministries are led by Randy Billings, who says “We are teaching that God’s Word is living and applies to us today. We are teaching children to be examples to those around them.”

As the Scripture teaches, “Let no one despise your youth; instead, you should be an example to the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity. 1 Timothy 4:12

Billings adds, “We are excited to have the privilege of teaching children and we have teacher training classes to better prepare ourselves to teach children.”

Billings wants children and their parents to understand that God has blessed us by providing this special book of life instructions – the Bible  (read 2 Timothy 3:15-17).

He asks children to bring their Bible to church, noting “We provide opportunities and training to use the Bible all year! We want children learn to trust God all the time (Proverbs 3:1-6) and we encourage each family to study God’s word together at home. Review the lesson with your child each week by asking about the story your child heard. Ask how we can do what God wants.”

God’s Word is important for teaching us how to live yet so few take the effort or time to study it. How do you learn about God’s greatest gift? How do you work on your relationship with God? God’s Word will give guidance on living out your faith.

The world is always interacting with you. How do you know how to react to those interactions? The world’s desire is to take you away from a relationship with God. No amount of discipline, exercises, training, or workouts can keep you in shape for the spiritual battle that is going on around you without the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Study God’s word every day. Pray & praise all the way.

Together we equip, prepare, and train others in truth about faith and eternity?

There is true value when we connect with each other and God.

Don’t miss out on an opportunity to hear and experience God’s gifts and presence through your church.

Until His return He sent the Holy Spirit to guide and provide so we would not face the world alone.

June 2026 at Living Word.

School may be out but the summer is not a time to quit learning. This month our students will be learning about the early church and different ways can can worship God today.

Sometimes when students try to learn the 3r’s in school things just don’t add up because students need to learn and practice more than 3R’s from birth. No one is too young or too old to apply the R’s. Roll those R’s, live a Responsible, Respectful, and Resourceful life. Responsible – you should know and do what is expected of you. Romans 14:11-13; Respectful – Honoring the authority God places in your life 1 Thessalonians 5:12-24. Resourceful – Able and ready to take on projects that others would discard or overlook. 1 Thessalonians 4:11-12; 1 Corinthians 4:12; Acts 20:24.

Reading God’s word will help you and others to understand the mystery of Christ – Ephesians 3:4-6; 1 Tim 4:13-14

wRite it down, There is a place within you for God’s Word and the Holy Spirit to dwell – 2 Corinthians 3:2-3; Ezekiel 36:26-27; Joshua 1:8-9;23:6

June 7 Have you ever experienced a true life changing moment or an answer to something you have been asking for a long time? What did your faith look like during that time? Samuel listened to God – 1 Samuel 1:20,24-28; 3; Psalm 32:8,95:6. A church is a group of people who choose to meet together to celebrate what Christ has done for them. They have a true desire to grow in what they know to allow God’s love to show. Their goal to worship and serve the One True God. Take time in your daily life to allow God to talk to you. Ask God to help you listen and follow where ever He leads you. Thank God for constant presence in your life.

June 14 We all experience times of grieve and times of joy as we grow through different seasons. Ecclesiastes 3 talks about those seasons. We need to trust and praise God through all phases. The people sang – Ezra 2:68-3:13; Psalm 95:6. God wants people to gather to worship Him. We can praise, sing, and thank God. Ask God to give you a heart of true worship and resources to reflect God’s glory and love. 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18; Philippians 4:4; Psalm 34:1; Job1:21.

June 21 The importance of prayer is very important for building a true relationship with the One True God. We need to learn to pray and trust that whatever happens next must come from God. People prayed for Peter – Acts 12:1-19; Psalm 54:2, 95:6. God provides the church power to help people plug in so they can help meet the needs of others. The church can pray and provide for those truly in need. Ask God to help you build a relationship and prayer life , Then be sensitive to the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

June 28 Advice and money do not solve all problems. Different situations require different solutions. Sometimes we may need to provide a listening concerned ear. Sometimes we may be a helping hand. Some times it is a simple prayer. Sometimes it is resources, Sometimes it is proper training. It should always include the Good News and God’s Love and understanding. The church helped – Acts 11:19-30; Psalm 95:6; Galatians 5:13. God uses His people to help others of the community and around the world in times of need. Allowing them to share the Good News. Pray asking God to show you how to properly use the abilities and resources He has given you.
