It is the season, are you ready for it? Do you know the true value in the gift you were given? There are so many gifts. The Bible does not categorize the gifts God provides nor does it make a complete list. Your focus should be on the purpose of the gifts that God has given you. Holy Spirit is there for each person for the common good. The fact is God will provide us the knowledge, resources, and skills to do whatever He calls us to. We must accept the call and build a relationship with Him. Preparing and planning are good but will not be effective if God is not in it.

We all have different gifts & roles that support and lift others up.

Romans 12:3-8, 1 peter 4:9-11, 1 Corinthians 12:1-11. There are gifts that share, speak, support, & supplement. There are gifts that support. Helping, preparing, and managing the work of the church and other task. There are gifts that share. Showing hospitality, love, and mercy. Communicating God’s love to others. There are gifts that speak. Teaching and prophecy help others know and apply God’s word.

There are gifts that supplement. Providing faith, knowledge, and wisdom to support.

Together we equip, prepare, and train others in truth about faith and eternity?

There is true value when we connect with each other and God.

Don’t miss out on an opportunity to hear and experience God’s gifts and presence through your church.

This month we will be teaching our students -Jesus came to earth to give us the greatest gift of all. It is a real-life changing gift.

Dec 3 The wait was on, hundreds of years went by but it was not a secret. Prophets told us of the Savior’s birth seven years before – Isaiah 7:14, 9:6, 11:1-5; Micah 5:2; Matthew 1:23. God shared His promise. God is good and keeps His word. The wait is worth it all. Isaiah told us about this special child to come and Micah told us He would be born in Bethlehem long before it took place.

Dec 10 Have you ever wondered what she planned to do that day before He came? Angel Visit and give news. Daniel 9:20-23; Luke1:26-38; Matthew 1:18-24 The same angel that gave a young man who spent the night with the lions understanding told Mary that God had a plan for us, His Son was coming as a baby born of a virgin. She was not expecting to be expecting but she was a part of God’s miraculous plan for you and I.

Dec 17 Were you so excited that you could not stop talking about it? Even babies and children can praise God, People are designed to praise and worship God – Psalms 8:1-2; Luke 1:39-56 Mary, Elizabeth, John, and Jesus all shared a special time of overwhelming joy. The long-expected Savior of the world would soon be born and God had another to prepare the way.

Dec 24 You have heard the story many times but have you stopped to consider the cost of the gift given on that night? God planned for Jesus to be born from the beginning of time and He kept His promise to send Jesus the Messiah. Luke 2:1-20; Matthew 1:23. Jesus was born into a broken sinful world full of ungrateful and undeserving people. This was all part of God’s special plan for us

Dec 31 Wise people still worship Jesus the True Messiah and Savior. Matthew 2:1-12,23. Wisemen worshiped Jesus. Are you seeking or have you already found Him?

You have not gone too far, remember that when you see a star.

When you see a stone know you are not alone.

When they saw a star from afar wise men knew they should seek Him.

When the stone rolled away there was nothing to see yet we were not left alone.

He came to earth as a child to grow and show being the example and teacher. Then He died for you and me. Then He rose from the dead and He left to prepare our real home. Until His return He sent the Holy Spirit to guide and provide so we would not face the world alone.

Wednesday evenings middle & high school students are invited to learn about God’s Revelation to us.

We can learn so much from studying Gods word. Many have a life filled with family problems, conflict, and drama and circumstances that look overwhelming. We are not designed to just survive them. God’s plan is for people to grow in a relationship with Him and overcome them. God does not always remove our hardships but He does equip us to rise up and fly high over them. Rise up and overcome God is at work and Jesus has paid the way. God has plans for you just as He did others all those years ago. Open your gift.
