April 2022 at Living Word – A season to grow in what you know and allow God’s love to show.

Why are you just standing there? There is a plan, you should be expecting it to happen! God’s plan was for Him to come to earth as a man, share the plan, and train others to share God’s salvation plan. While Jesus walked the earth, he used objects and situations around Him to teach lessons and share God’s plan.  Now you have to do your part. Make sure are ready to receive the blessings that God wants to fill you with. Make sure your heart and soul are turned in the right direction and not full of something that should not be in it. It is a gift. You must receive, open, and use the gifts that God sends to you. You will not know the time I plan to return but you will receive the Power when the Holy Spirit comes, you shall be my witnesses.

Why did Jesus have to die? For our sake God made Him to be sin who knew no sin, so that through Him we might become the righteous of God.

Jesus died on the cross but God raised Him in order to defeat death and sin. How are you sharing the news with others?

April 3 Not everyone is thankful for the blessings God provides. They were cast out of town and isolated, the only hope they had was for a miracle. Jesus Healed Ten Lepers – Luke 17:11-19; 1 John 4:14 – Jesus performed miracles through the power of God. God can heal diseases and sicknesses. God has power over everything. Are you giving Him the praise and thanks He deserves? How can you serve? God will provide the power and resources to fulfil his plan. Jesus was and still is a true Miracle Worker.

April 10 The Bible tells us it is good to give praise to the Lord. Psalm 92:1 Jesus rode in on a donkey. The Triumphal Entry of the Messiah and King. Zechariah 9:9; Matthew 5:17; 21:1-11; Mark 11:1-11; 1 John 4:14. Jesus is the Messiah who fulfilled Old Testament prophecies. He could have entered on a beautiful stallion like the earthly kings would have but He came in as Zechariah foretold.

April 17 The penalty had to be paid. Out of extreme pain, suffering, and death came triumph and glory. Crucifixion and Resurrection – Isaiah 25:8-9: Matthew 26:36-28:10; 1 Peter 3:18; 2 Corinthians 5:20-21; 1 John 4:14. Jesus willingly and sacrificially gave Himself over to death. The death, burial, and resurrection were all part of God’s plan for our redemption and salvation. Jesus died to pay the penalty for our sin. When God raised Him from the dead death and sin were both defeated.

April 24 What is something you had to wait for that you really looked forward to? Something great was about to talk place. He said He would be back. The Ascension, after they watched Jesus ascend into heaven two men appeared and said He will return in the same way He left. – Acts 1:4-11; Hebrews 9:28; 1 John 4:14. Where is your focus? Jesus will return one day as He promised, are you prepared for when the day comes?
