How well can you describe yourself? Would you tell us about your failures, family, friends, hobbies you have, your looks, places you have been, social status, things you do, thoughts, your short comings, or something else? God knows you much better than you know yourself. Not the gods of the worldly world but the One True God. God knows your shortcomings and strengths. God loves you and will empower you to keep going to follow the correct path. God will meet you no matter where you are.

Do you act out despite all the warnings you are given? What really rules over you?

How well can you tell someone about the True God who created you?

How well can you describe your relationship to God?

This month we will be teaching God deserves our devotion and worship. God is all-knowing, all powerful, everywhere we are, and knows what we need. God wants us to have a true relationship with Him. God is able to move in our lives no matter how old or young we are.  God has made and kept promises and wants us to claim the ones for us.

October 3 God is all-knowing. God knows all the things you do. Nothing is hidden from God. Genesis 4:1-16; Psalms 139:1-2 – Cain and Abel – God gave Cain a chance to pause & evaluate. God warned that sin is waiting to overtake and control. God offered the answer to overcome sin. In spite of everything God showed mercy and placed a mark of protection.

October 10 God deserves respect, obedience, and honor. Genesis 22:1-19; Psalms 139:1-2; John 15:14 – Abraham obeyed God. After a 3-day journey God clearly points to the plan of salvation to sacrifice His only Son who went willingly to the cross as the sacrificial lamb for the sins of everyone in the world.

October 17 God is everywhere at all times even with you wherever you go. Genesis 28; Joshua 1:9; Psalms 139:1-2. Jacob Encountered God. God promised Jacob the He would always be with him. Always near, Always close. God knows human weakness and the tendency to wonder away so He provides a boundary of protection for those who choose to follow. Do you have a special spot to talk to God?

October 24 God is all-powerful and control of all things. Genesis 39:21-41:36; 50:19-20; Psalms 139:1-2. Even in your worse moments God can use you to tell others. Joseph Interpreted Pharaoh’s Dream. Joseph credited God, not himself. God gives warnings to prepare and save from what is to come. Even when you find yourself in the pits of life put God 1st – pray, read the Bible, seek Godly relationships and resources. Share God’s plan.

October 31 God knows what people need and desire but still expects them to pray. God hears our prayers. Yes, no, wait I have something better. Exodus 3:1-4: 17; Psalms 66:19; 139:1-2. God called Moses. Moses knew he saw something amazing when he saw a bush on fire but not consumed. God knows our weaknesses and hears the prayers of His people. Respond to His plan and call to action.
