May 2026 at Living Word – When you hear something exciting do you tell about it?

What methods do you use to let others know?

Do you keep it to yourself? We should never be ashamed of sharing and telling others about Jesus. What methods could you share the Good News? God has given you a part to play.

The Holy Spirit will guide and provide for you to share the Good News with others.

We want our students to learn the power of the Holy Spirit and how we can be empowered to share God’s plan no matter where we are.

May 3 – Moses met with God on Mount Sinai. He experienced trumpet sounds, fire, an earthquake and God. Exodus 19:16-20. Jesus followers experienced violent wind, tongues of fire, and the Holy Spirit. Acts 1:5,; 2:2-4 Peter preached at Pentecost- All people need to hear that Jesus is the Savior. The Holy Spirit helps people understand God’s plan salvation. Acts 2:1-15,22-24, 36-41; Romans 1:16; John 14:26. Do not be ashamed, plug into the power. Allow the Holy Spirit to guide and provide.

May 10 – In life we will encounter opposition at some point. How you react to the things going on around you will speak to others. When people are negative, trust God to work as you plant seeds along the way. The thing you need to be sensitive to is the call of the Holy Spirit. Paul and Barnabas became missionaries. They responded to God’s call and the guidance of the Holy Spirit as they traveled sharing the Good News – The Holy Spirit inspires and helps Christians tell others about Jesus. Acts 13:1-15,42-49; Romans 1:16, 8:28. Focus on your love of the Lord and His plan for you. Make sure you answer the call.

May 17 – Strong convictions, true purpose, a good mentor, working to accomplish God’s true purpose. Paul listened to God , many lives were touched. – The Holy Spirit is at work in the world today and has always worked as part of God’s plan. Acts15:36-16:15; Philippians 2:13.; Romans 1:16. How do you plan to grow in what you know and allow God’s love to show? Allow God to do His work in you.

May 24 – Some thought it was foolish while others were intrigued. Some saw the connection between the events, prophecies and promises. Some were too intelligent or philosophic to understand. There is a difference in religion and a true relationship. Paul taught in Athens – People can tell about the one true God. Christians are called to tell people everywhere about Jesus and God’s plan for salvation. Acts 17:16-34; John 17:1-5; Romans 1:16. Ask God to give you the courage to share the Good News.

May 31 – How do you connect to others? How do you establish common ground with o
