Our past shame & failures do not keep us from God. No failure is greater than the grace and purpose of God. Christ has the authority & ability to define us.
No matter what you will get thirsty again unless you drink the Living Water then your needs will be met. How would you react if Jesus appeared and spoke with you? God can redeem us from our worst failures but you have to ask. Each person is unique and of value to God. Avoid the consequences of the comparison and criticism game. God proves His unconditional love for people through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. God loves & forgives people when they ask for forgiveness. Build your relationship with God. Apply God’s word to your life. Allow God to do great things through you.

Students learn
May 1 Redeemed from a critical spirit. Numbers 12:1-11,13-15 belittling & criticizing damages lives. Discontentment fuels criticism. We need to focus on God. Avoid the consequences of the comparison and criticism game.
May 8 Redeemed from crippling doubt. Luke 1:11-20, 63-65, Joshua 4:1-9 God’s Word can be trusted. When you hear God’s word – believe in it and step out in faith. Find joy by being obedient to God.
May 15 Redeemed from devastating failure. Luke 22:54-62; Acts 4:8-13 God can redeem us from our worst failures. No failure is greater than the grace and purpose of God. Peter & John were given the power to heal. Both were bold untrained & uneducated by world standards. Both knew Jesus & His power. They allowed the Holy Spirit to use them.
May 22 Redeemed from unbelieving past. Acts 26:9-20. 2 Corinthians 12:7-10 Christ can transform even hostile enemies into faithful believers. It was not something that happened but someone happened. With the rebuke came the call; be a servant & witness.
May 29 Seize the day. Acts 8:26-35 Ephesians 5:16 It is time to share the gospel with the world. Recognize an opportunity to share the gospel. God takes things of the world that seem foolish or ordinary and does incredible things.
