August 2025 at Living Word What Jesus Taught

Think back over the years, who was your favorite teacher? What do you remember most about that teacher? What do you think was the most important thing they taught you? A good teacher is memorable.

Jesus came to earth and taught many things however Jesus was so much more than just a good teacher. This month we will be teaching our students some of the things Jesus taught us during His short time here on earth. How to care about and help others, how to talk to our Heavenly Father, and who God is. Many gathered to hear His parables, teaching and watch miracles take place. We want students to to live in a way that fulfills the plan God designed them for,.honoring and trusting God.

What do you think you are teaching people by your daily way of life?

August 3 Why do you worry during troubling times? Many times about things you can not control and have no power over. Seek first the Kingdom of God then the things you need will be provided. God knows what you really need. Matthew 14 tells us how over 5000 were filled and 12 baskets were leftover from a little child’s lunch. Jesus taught us what God is like by the way He lived, what He said, and the actions He took.
