Our children’s ministries are led by Randy Billings, who says “We are teaching that God’s Word is living and applies to us today. We are teaching children to be examples to those around them.”

As the Scripture teaches, “Let no one despise your youth; instead, you should be an example to the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity. 1 Timothy 4:12

Billings adds, “We are excited to have the privilege of teaching children and we have teacher training classes to better prepare ourselves to teach children.”

Billings wants children and their parents to understand that God has blessed us by providing this special book of life instructions – the Bible  (read 2 Timothy 3:15-17).

He asks children to bring their Bible to church, noting “We provide opportunities and training to use the Bible all year! We want children learn to trust God all the time (Proverbs 3:1-6) and we encourage each family to study God’s word together at home. Review the lesson with your child each week by asking about the story your child heard. Ask how we can do what God wants.”

God’s Word is important for teaching us how to live yet so few take the effort or time to study it. How do you learn about God’s greatest gift? How do you work on your relationship with God? God’s Word will give guidance on living out your faith.

The world is always interacting with you. How do you know how to react to those interactions? The world’s desire is to take you away from a relationship with God. No amount of discipline, exercises, training, or workouts can keep you in shape for the spiritual battle that is going on around you without the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Study God’s word every day. Pray & praise all the way.

Do you know who you really are? When God works through and with us we make a huge difference! Small steps impact people in a big way. You are making a difference to someone, is that difference the one God planned for you to make?

“Trying to do the Lord’s work in your own strength is the most confusing, exhausting, and tedious of all work, but when you are filled with the Holy Spirit, then the Ministry of Jesus just flows out of you.” Corrie Ten Boom.

God wants the best for people. He has a message for us. We should share the message with others. Read Hebrew 4:12-16, Proverbs 30:5, & 1 John 2:3, How can you complete this? God’s word is……

Feb 4 I am a Minister. 2 Corinthians 3:4-12. Since we have hope we can act with boldness. Christ calls us to serve Him through opportunities He gives us to serve others. God works through us to make a difference. God wants us to minister to people & carry out His will, even when it is not easy.

Feb 18 I am just passing Through. 1 Peter 2:11-17. Our lives in this world should reflect our eternal home. Be careful in what you call your home.

Feb 25 I am a Light. Ephesians 5:8-14. Sin & darkness abound in this world. The world is embracing and endorsing evil. We must stand as a sharp and inviting contrast. Shine the Light of Christ into the world.
